Tell National Construction News what is happening
Contract wins, starts on site, completions, appointments, apprentices, awards, charity work, new kit, new ways of working. If it is happening in your part of the industry, we want to hear about it, and genuine news is published free of charge.
Email hello@nationalconstructionnews.co.uk
What to send
- What has happened, who is involved, where and when, in your own words. A press release is fine, so is a few lines.
- A photograph you have the right to publish (JPEG or PNG, at least 1600 pixels wide), with a note of how to credit it. A story with a photograph from the organisation involved can lead the home page.
- A name and number for queries, which we will not publish.
What happens next
Every email is read and acknowledged. A story is researched from the material you send and from public sources, written in our house style, checked against those sources and published, usually within two working days. You get the live link by email. We may ask for a detail or a better picture.
What we do not publish
Product promotions, offers and sales messages are not news; we will offer a labelled advertisement feature instead (see advertising). We do not publish allegations, disputes, accidents or enforcement action. Our editorial standards explain the rest.
Correcting a story
If we have got something wrong, email the same address with the link and the correction. See the corrections page.
