How the figures were compiled
The figures come from tender notices published on Find a Tender, the UK government's procurement notice service, read from its open contracting data feed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 as it stood on 8 October 2026. They count open notices classified by the buyer under division 45 of the Common Procurement Vocabulary, construction work, with a deadline for tenders or requests to participate between 9 and 22 October 2026, taking each tender at its latest notice. Only notices published or updated since 18 August 2026 were read, so older tenders not updated since then are left out, and estimated values are the buyers' own, excluding VAT where the notice gives that figure. Deadlines can change, so check the notice itself before relying on a date.
On the record: The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, Wirral Council
