Contractors have 133 open construction works tenders to consider over the next two weeks, with single-contract estimates adding up to £605.8m, according to open contracting data published by Find a Tender, the Cabinet Office's procurement notice service.

The opportunities come from 114 public-sector buyers and have deadlines for tenders or requests to participate between 30 October and 12 November 2026.

Of the 133, 70 close in the first week, between 30 October and 5 November, and 63 in the second, between 6 November and 12 November.

The £605.8m figure, or £605,809,558 in full, covers the 107 tenders that are for a single contract with an estimated value. A further 20 tenders are for framework agreements or dynamic purchasing systems. Their estimated values are ceilings rather than contract sums and are left out of the total.

The largest opportunities

The largest by estimated value is "Highways Works Term Contract (HWTC) 23261HE (Tender Stage)" from London Borough of Ealing, estimated at £140,000,000 excluding VAT. The notice, published on 11 September 2026, closes at 12:00 on 30 October 2026 under an open procedure. How the figures were compiled

The figures come from tender notices on Find a Tender, read from its open contracting data feed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 as it stood on 29 October 2026. They count notices still open with a deadline for tenders or requests to participate between 30 October and 12 November 2026, where the buyer classified the work under division 45 of the Common Procurement Vocabulary, construction work. Only notices published or updated since 18 August 2026 were read, so older tenders not updated since then are not included. Estimated values are the buyers' own, excluding VAT where the notice gives that figure, and framework and dynamic purchasing system ceilings are counted but not added to the total.
